What You'll Receive

Here's what to expect after you order

Your NFC device

The physical TAPUS! device in the color and options you picked at checkout.

A claim code by email

Your claim code arrives in the email we send when your order is marked Completed. It looks like TAPUS-XXXXX and can only be used once, so keep it private.

Your order receipt

Save the receipt from checkout. Its tracking ID lets you follow your order at any time.

These steps are the same for every TAPUS! device

Place your order

Pickup orders skip the address step.

  • Pick your product, color, any options, and a package in the shop.
  • Enter an email address you can actually open — this is where every order update goes.
  • Review your order, add a delivery address if you are having it shipped, then choose a payment method.
  • Pay online, or send your proof of payment if you picked a manual method.
  • Save your receipt so you keep your tracking ID.

Follow your order

Check your spam folder if an update has not arrived.

  • Track your order any time using the tracking ID from your receipt.
  • We email you when your order status changes, as long as those notifications are switched on.
  • If your order becomes Ready for Pickup, message us so we can agree on a time and place.

Get your claim code

  • When your order is marked Completed, we email your claim codes.
  • You get one code per device in the order.
  • Each code works only once, so do not share it.

Create or verify your account

Your device PIN is separate from your account password.

  • Tap your device, or open the claim page directly, and enter your claim code.
  • Register a new TAPUS! account or sign in to your existing one.
  • New accounts must confirm a verification code we send by email before the claim finishes.
  • Set a device PIN of 4 to 8 digits when prompted.

Choose what your device opens

Links must start with https:// and use an approved domain. If your domain is not approved yet, you can request it and we will review it.

  • Open your dashboard and choose Edit Device.
  • Pick a destination: your own link, a ready destination, your TAPUS page, a medical card, or a memory gallery if your product supports it.
  • Save your change.

Set your privacy and test it

A medical card is always readable without a PIN so it can help in an emergency.

  • Turn PIN Protection on if you want people to enter your device PIN before they see your destination.
  • Tap your device with a phone to check it opens what you expect.
  • Share it with confidence — no app is needed on the other person's phone.

What counts as an edit? Changing your destination or switching between link and gallery mode. Uploading, reordering, or restyling album photos does not.

Set Up Each Feature

Pick the destination you want your device to open

Your TAPUS page

A public profile page hosted by TAPUS!, so you do not need your own website.

  1. 1 Open your account profile and build your public page.
  2. 2 Add the links and blocks you want visitors to see.
  3. 3 In Edit Device, choose your TAPUS page as the destination and save.

Good to know

  • Your profile has its own settings, separate from your device PIN.

Switching between link and gallery

Some products can be either a link or a memory gallery, and you can change your mind.

  1. 1 Open Edit Device and pick the mode you want.
  2. 2 Save your change.

Good to know

  • Switching modes uses one of your edits if your package has a limit.
  • Your album details are remembered, so you can switch back later.

TAPUS! Medical Card

Emergency medical details that anyone can read by tapping your device.

  1. 1 Connect Google Drive from your account profile.
  2. 2 Open Edit Device and choose TAPUS! Medical Card.
  3. 3 Upload a clear photo of yourself.
  4. 4 Fill in your full name, date of birth, sex, blood type, implants (or None), and at least one emergency contact with a name and phone number.
  5. 5 Add anything else that helps: allergies, conditions, medications, notes, physician details, or organ donor status.
  6. 6 Save, then set your device destination to the medical card.
  7. 7 Tap your device to check what a stranger would see.

Good to know

  • A medical card is deliberately readable without a PIN so it works in an emergency.
  • Only include what you are comfortable with a stranger reading.
  • Your card and photo live in your own Google Drive.
  • You need to finish the required details before you can select it as a destination.

PIN protection, changing your PIN, and lost devices

Control who can open your device and what happens if you lose it.

  1. 1 Open Edit Device, then Privacy.
  2. 2 Turn PIN Protection on or off at any time.
  3. 3 To change your device PIN, confirm your account password and set a new 4 to 8 digit PIN.
  4. 4 If your device goes missing, mark it as lost so it stops opening your destination.

Good to know

  • Turning PIN Protection off does not erase your PIN — you can switch it back on later.
  • Changing your PIN or toggling protection signs out anyone who previously unlocked it.
  • You no longer need support to recover a forgotten device PIN.

Passing your device to someone else

Gift or hand over a device without losing your own purchase history.

  1. 1 Open Edit Device and start a pass along.
  2. 2 Send a code by email, or show the QR option.
  3. 3 The recipient signs in with exactly the email you invited, on a verified account.
  4. 4 They accept the transfer and set their own new device PIN.

Good to know

  • Pending transfers can expire, and you can cancel one before it is accepted.
  • Your purchase history stays with you as the original buyer.
  • If the device has an album, the recipient chooses to keep yours as read-only or start fresh with their own Drive.
  • A kept album still depends on the previous owner keeping Drive connected.
  • Medical card details never transfer. They are cleared from the device on hand over.

Your account, email, and notifications

Keep access to your account and control what we email you.

  1. 1 Verify your email with the code we send when you register or claim.
  2. 2 Use Forgot Password if you cannot sign in — you will get a code by email.
  3. 3 Change your email from your profile; we confirm the new address with a code.
  4. 4 Choose which order emails you want under your profile notification settings.

Good to know

  • Claim code emails always send, even if other order notifications are switched off.
  • Purchase history follows the email used on the order and the person who first claimed the device.

Common Questions

Quick answers to what customers ask most

Where is my claim code?

It is in the email we send when your order is marked Completed. Each device in the order gets its own code.

Do I need an app?

No. Anyone with an NFC-capable phone can tap your device and it opens in their browser.

How do I tap a TAPUS! device?

On iPhone, hold the top of your phone near the device with the screen on and unlocked. On Android, hold the middle or upper back of your phone near the device with NFC turned on.

Can I change where my device points later?

Yes. How often depends on your package. Some packages include unlimited changes, others include a set number.

What counts as an edit?

Changing your destination, or switching between link mode and gallery mode. Uploading, reordering, or restyling album photos does not count.

I forgot my device PIN.

Open Edit Device, go to Privacy, and change your PIN by confirming your account password.

Do I need Google Drive?

Only for memory gallery albums and medical cards. Plain links and your TAPUS page do not need it.

Where are my photos stored?

In your own Google Drive. We only store a reference so your device knows what to show.

Can several devices point to the same place?

Yes. Each device is set up separately, and they can all use the same destination.

Is my medical card protected by my PIN?

No, and that is on purpose. A medical card must be readable by anyone helping you in an emergency.
