Order Form & Payment

  1. Download your order form from the confirmation page
  2. Make payment using the payment method details shown
  3. Send proof of payment along with your order form via the platform you ordered from (e.g., Facebook, Instagram)
  4. Wait for admin confirmation of your payment

Receiving Your Device

Verify and locate your claim code

Verify Your Package

  • Check that the product matches what you ordered
  • Verify product name, color variant, and configuration
  • Inspect for any physical damage during shipping

Find the sticker or card that says:

Usually found on packaging insert or inside the product box

Important Security Note

Your claim code is one-time use only. Once claimed, the device is permanently linked to your account. Keep it safe until you're ready to set up!

How to Tap

iPhone Users

  1. 1. Hold the top of your iPhone near the NFC device
  2. 2. Wait for notification banner to appear
  3. 3. Tap the notification to open claim page
  4. 4. No app needed - built into iOS!

Android Users

  1. 1. Ensure NFC is enabled in settings
  2. 2. Hold the back of your phone near device
  3. 3. Phone will vibrate/show notification
  4. 4. Tap to open claim page in browser

Claiming Your Device

After tapping your device, you'll be directed to the claim page with two options:

New User

Register a new account:

  • Email address
  • Password (min 8 characters)
  • Full name
  • Contact number
  • Your claim code

Existing User

Already have an account:

  • Your registered email
  • Your account password
  • New device claim code

💡 Tip: You can manage multiple devices from one account!

Why Set a PIN?

Your device PIN is required for privacy mode and protects your device from unauthorized changes.

PIN Requirements

  • 4-8 digits only
  • Numbers only (0-9)
  • Easy to remember

PIN Protection

  • Privacy mode activation
  • Device unlock after lost mode
  • Security verification

Important: Remember Your PIN

If you forget your PIN, you'll need to contact support to reset it. Choose something memorable but secure!

After claiming, you'll be redirected to your dashboard where you can configure your device.

Quick Setup Steps

  1. 1 Click "Edit Device" on your newly claimed device
  2. 2 Enter your target URL (must be full URL with https://)
  3. 3 Check your edit limits remaining
  4. 4 Click "Update Device" to save

If you enter a non-whitelisted domain, your request will be sent to admin for approval (usually within 24 hours).

Configure Privacy Settings

Optional PIN protection

PIN Protection (Optional)

Located at the bottom of the edit device page. Control who can access your redirect:

Toggle ON

Anyone who taps your device will be asked for the PIN before redirecting

Best for:

  • • Personal devices
  • • Sensitive links
  • • Limited sharing

Toggle OFF (Default)

Device redirects immediately on tap without requiring PIN

Best for:

  • • Business cards
  • • Marketing materials
  • • Public sharing

Test Your Device

Verify everything works

Testing Your Setup

1. Test the Tap

Tap your device with your phone or another phone to verify:

  • Device responds to tap
  • Redirects to your target URL
  • Opens correctly in browser

2. Try Privacy Mode (Optional)

Enable privacy mode from your dashboard:

  • Toggle "Privacy Mode" on
  • Tap device again
  • You'll be prompted for your PIN
  • After correct PIN, redirects to target

3. Share Your Device

Your TAPUS! device is now ready to share with others:

  • Give it to people you meet
  • Attach to business cards
  • Use at events or your store
  • Start networking effortlessly!

What Counts as an Edit?

Q: Can I change my target URL later?

A: Yes, based on your device's edit limits. Check your dashboard for remaining edits.

Q: What if I lose my claim code?

A: Claim codes are one-time use. Once claimed, you manage the device through your account. If never claimed, contact support via the platform of your choice with your order ID.

Q: Can I transfer a device to someone else?

A: Not currently supported. Devices are permanently linked to the claiming account.

Q: What happens if I reach my edit limit?

A: Weekly limits reset after 7 days from your oldest edit. Lifetime limits are permanent unless you upgrade to a device with more edits.

Q: Can multiple devices point to the same URL?

A: Yes! You can set all your devices to the same destination.

Q: Do I need the TAPUS app?

A: No app needed! Everything is web-based and works on any device with a browser.
