This Privacy Policy describes how TAPUS! collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, shop, customer account, and NFC-enabled products.

Information we collect

Account data: email, name, nickname, and password (stored securely hashed).
Order data: customer name, contact handle, shipping details, order items, and payment status.
Device data: NFC device configuration, claim status, optional PIN protection, and redirect URLs you configure.
Google Drive (optional): if you connect Google Drive for Memory Coin or similar products, we store a refresh token and a dedicated folder ID. TAPUS uses the drive.file scope only — we access files our app creates in your TAPUS! Media Folder (Do Not Touch) folder, not your entire Drive.
Payment data: online payments are processed by PayMongo. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Google API Services — Limited Use Disclosure

TAPUS! utilizes the limited drive.file scope. The application only accesses, reads, or manages files and folder containers explicitly created or opened by this application (the “TAPUS! Media Folder (Do Not Touch)” directory). We do not possess authority to access, view, or modify any other personal files residing within your root Google Drive directory.

TAPUS!’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we use information

Fulfill and support shop orders and production.
Operate your TAPUS! devices and customer dashboard.
Sync media you upload to Google Drive for supported products.
Improve security, fraud prevention, and customer support.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers required to operate TAPUS! (e.g. PayMongo for payments, Google for Drive access you authorize) or when required by law.

Retention

We retain order and account records as needed for business, accounting, and legal obligations. You may request account deletion by contacting us; some order records may be retained where required.

Security

We use HTTPS, access controls, and industry-standard practices. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Your choices

Disconnect Google Drive from your profile at any time (existing synced files may remain in your Drive folder).
Update account details via your profile.
